The dry down is the best part of the fragrance as far as I'm concerned. The incense and musk, with cedar remaining from the middle comes through cleanly. The dry down is much too light for me but it does last for a respectable length of time. I simply didn't expect this kind of fragrance from Givenchy related to their respected name, "Gentleman." The classic "fresh" incense is CDG 2 man, which contains incense but feels fresh, like a cold church. It does contain vetiver, but it doesn't come out as strong-so as usual try it first. For leather, $$$ Acqua di Parma colonia leather is fresh, zingy citrus plus dry leather. It's quite fresh and I like it, but the effect is sharp and butalistic .
